The terms on which Servanté Studio provides its salon services and this website. Please take a moment to read them.

These terms and conditions apply to the services provided by Servanté Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) at our salon in Uckfield, East Sussex, and to your use of this website. By booking an appointment with us or using this site, you agree to these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Appointments and bookings
You can book by phone, in person, or through our online booking partner. When you book, please let us know about anything that may affect your service, such as allergies, sensitivities, scalp or skin conditions, recent colour or chemical treatments, or if you are pregnant. This helps us look after you safely and recommend the right service.
We will always do our best to run on time. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten or rearrange your appointment so that we do not keep other clients waiting, and the full service price may still apply.
Cancellations and changes
We completely understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or rearrange, we kindly ask for as much notice as possible, and at least 24 hours, so that we can offer your slot to someone else. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may mean we ask for a deposit to secure future bookings. Where a deposit has been taken, it is redeemable against your service and may be retained if you cancel at short notice or do not attend.
Patch tests and consultations
For your safety, a skin allergy (patch) test is required at least 48 hours before your first colour service, and again if it has been a while since your last visit or your circumstances have changed. We cannot carry out a colour service without one. Some services also begin with a consultation so we can understand your hair and agree a plan; certain consultations may carry a small fee that is redeemable against your first appointment.
Pricing and payment
Prices shown on this website and in the salon are a guide. Because every head of hair is different, the final price depends on factors such as length, thickness, condition, colour history and the time your service takes. We will always confirm the price with you at your consultation, before any service begins, so there are no surprises. Payment is due on the day of your appointment by the methods we accept in salon.
If you are not happy
Your happiness matters to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please tell us within seven days of your appointment and give us the chance to put it right. We will happily look at your hair and, where appropriate, adjust the work at no extra cost. This does not affect your legal rights.
Children and young people
Younger clients are very welcome. Children and under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for them during the visit. For safety reasons, colour and chemical services may not be available to younger clients.
Gift vouchers
Any gift vouchers we offer are valid for the period stated on the voucher, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Please bring your voucher with you to redeem it.
Our responsibility to you
We take great care over every service and follow professional standards and manufacturer guidance. Hair and skin can occasionally react in unexpected ways, which is why patch tests and honest consultations matter. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from information you did not share with us.
Using this website
This website is provided for general information about the salon and its services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that everything is complete or error-free, and details such as prices and availability may change. The content, branding, images and design of this site are owned by Servanté Studio or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent. Where we link to other websites, such as our online booking partner, we are not responsible for their content or their terms.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with the “last updated” date above, applies to your visit. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
