Extensions
Your at-home extension aftercare routine
Five honest, practical habits that protect your extensions and the hair underneath them.

Beautifully fitted extensions can transform how you feel. Looked after well, they last longer, look better and protect your natural hair underneath. Here is the routine I give every client.
Brush correctly
A loop brush, twice a day, working from the ends up. Always hold the hair just below the bond to take tension off the root.
Wash thoughtfully
Use a sulphate-free shampoo, dilute it slightly, and focus the lather at the scalp. Condition only the mid-lengths and ends.
Dry the bonds
Never sleep on damp extensions. Rough-dry the bonds first, then style as normal.
Tie up at night
A loose plait or low silk-tied ponytail prevents tangling and protects the bonds while you sleep.
Keep your maintenance schedule
Tapes are usually moved every 6–8 weeks. Skipping maintenance is the single biggest cause of damage, please do not.
