How to blow-dry at home like you have been to the salon
The four-step routine our stylists teach again and again.

Most home blow-dries fall down at the same three points. Here is how to fix them in under fifteen minutes.
1. Rough dry to 80%
Before you reach for a brush, rough-dry your hair to about 80% dry with the nozzle pointing down the hair. This alone removes most frizz.
2. Section properly
Two clips, three sections. It feels slow at first but transforms the finish.
3. Tension is everything
Pull the brush slowly and consistently, with the nozzle following just behind. Do not rush this part.
4. A cold blast at the end
A 10-second blast of cold air sets the cuticle and locks in shine. The single most underrated step.
